Vintage Foster, President
As a founding partner of AMF Media Group, Vintage Foster brings a wealth of media and publishing experience. Mr. Foster, previous publisher of the San Jose/Silicon Valley Business Journal, led the paper to renewed and record profits. He came to that position after serving as publisher of the East Bay Business Times in 2003. Under his leadership, the Times was the fastest growing business journal in the country.
Mr. Foster has gained wide recognition as both a Bay Area media leader and a respected journalist with vast connections in the community. He has interviewed some of the country’s most noted CEOs including Jack Welch, Carly Fiorina and Steve Wozniak. His relationships provide access to newspapers, television and radio stations throughout the area. As a result, Mr. Foster is a well sought after speaker, lecturing extensively on branding, content management and community involvement.
Because of his work as a business and civic leader, Mr. Foster was awarded the fourth annual Economic Development Alliance for Business: Vision Award. He joins a short list of leaders including State Attorney General Jerry Brown and former California Secretary of Transportation and Housing Sunne Wright McPeak to receive this honor.
