Val Vaz Appointed as AMF Market President for Central California

Vaz assumes the role Jan. 1 from Maggie Cox, who will retire at the end of 2019

September 30, 2019 — AMF Media Group, an award-winning, full-service marketing agency, announced that Val Vaz, currently director of account services, will assume the role of Central California market president effective January 1, 2020. Current market president Maggie Cox will retire at year end. Dave Cox, currently vice president of marketing and sales for the agency, will follow in June 2020.

Since joining with AMF nearly two years ago, they have helped create impactful campaigns for businesses throughout the state and have driven the agency into new service offerings and geographies,” said CEO Vintage Foster. “Val Vaz is a dynamic sales and marketing leader who has demonstrated an ability to lead in the region.”

Prior to joining AMF, Vaz served as San Luis Obispo County Tribune Vice President of Advertising and General Manager. She has more than 20 years of experience in digital and traditional sales, management and marketing.
