Mike is an experienced communications leader who has worked in corporate communications, public relations and journalism. Prior to joining AMF, Mike was an English instructor and then a journalist, including stints as Business Editor at the Reno Gazette-Journal in Nevada and Assistant Editor for the Silicon Valley Business Journal where he oversaw clean technology and venture capital coverage. At AMF he led the Public Relations and Content department for all clients before transitioning to lead strategic initiatives, which focuses on business development opportunities in growth areas for the firm, as well as service to large existing accounts with a wide range of needs.
