Visit Visalia, a new tourism marketing district, wanted to attract visitors to the city by leveraging the local attraction of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The result: a 10-video YouTube series featuring local personality Niccolo Go showcasing all Visalia has to offer – from outdoor adventure to farm-to-table dining and much more.
Outcome
The YouTube series attracted more than 240,000 viewers over a span of six months. Furthermore, the videos succeeded in driving traffic to the Visit Visalia website. Website visitors increased by 51% and page views went up by 61%.
