The VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation’s annual Millionaire Lottery provides an exciting way for consumers to participate in the fundraising efforts of several hospitals in British Columbia. Each lottery ticket gives the donor a chance to win incredible prizes while providing much-needed health care services.
AMF Media Group used a data-focused strategy to reach more potential ticket buyers. We recognized that many consumers are shifting away from traditional advertising channels in favor of new media alternatives. We brought in Connected-TV, Streaming Audio and Programmatic Video services to enhance the reach of the foundation’s traditional broadcast commercials.
AMF provided the data backbone that helped sell out lottery ticket sales by reaching audiences and markets traditional media assets alone could not. The campaign’s cost per acquisition has decreased substantially each year, adding thousands of dollars in additional revenue.
