Visit Visalia, a tourism marketing district (TMD), was formed to foster interest in Visalia, California as a year-round destination for leisure, family, meeting and convention travelers. The TMD wanted to attract visitors to the city by leveraging the local attraction of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.
AMF’s task: develop and promote a brand that visitors would recognize and seek out on their next adventure. We produced digital advertisements and social media video series showcasing various features of Visalia ranging from art to craft beer and local cuisine. Travel influencers were targeted to come and experience the destination firsthand.
The YouTube series attracted nearly a quarter of a million viewers over a span of six months. Furthermore, the videos succeeded in driving traffic to the Visit Visalia website.

The brand identity began with the logo, developed with a rounded font and vibrant colors to bring a playful nature to the words “Visit Visalia,” situated above a pair of mountain icons as a silent recognition to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.
AMF Media Group developed a 10-video YouTube series featuring local personality Niccolo Go and showcasing all Visalia has to offer — from outdoor adventure to farm-to-table dining and much more.
A new website was developed that conveyed the message that Visalia is a charming and family-friendly destination and an integral part of the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks experience.
Advertisements focused on showcasing the endearing hometown atmosphere of Visalia, highlighting its vibrant downtown and noting its proximity to the national parks.
